Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins (born in Mexico) is a Mexican American broadcaster. She anchors SportsNation and serves as a SportsCenter anchor. Her first assignment with ESPN in the year 2016. The child of the journalist on television Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is native to two languages. From the age of nine years old, her ability to speak two languages has helped her get the job she wanted in Miami as a production assistant at Univision. Then she became the anchor and reporter for Univision Dallas' Deportes 23. She was then given greater responsibilities. She wrote for The NBA, Dallas Cowboys' postseason games, NBA ALDS ALCS World Series or Finals FC Dallas. Also, she produced Univision 23's local sports channel Accion Deportiva Extra, on which she acted as anchor. She also served as the sports anchor of Despierta America Deportes morning show. She also served as anchor of the sports segment in Primer Impacto, a magazine program on the UniMas Network and Contacto Deportivo. Antonietta's parents are originally of Veracruz Mexico. At some point they moved from Veracruz Mexico to Mexico City where she was born on the 22nd of November, 1985. There is an older sister. She is the older sister. After a short time, her father split from her mother and she then remarried in 1995 a naval architect whose name was Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away of kidney carcinoma in 2006. In June of 2006, she spent one week with her sibling at Canton Ohio. The older Collins girl worked there. Antonietta, a high-school senior with an idea of what she thought her future would look like, traveled to Mount Union University to see what she could get out of the college. The result was that she liked the campus as well as the fact that it had the program she desired. She graduated from school and was enrolled at the university as a major in media studies. The relationship she formed was long-lasting with her teacher Mark Bergmann who was the supervisor for WRMU 91.1 FM, of which she was a member. The passion he had for journalism as well as confidence in her own abilities instilled confidence in her. In turn, she was determined to achieve his expectations and never disappoint him.
