Angela Evelyn Bassett has been an American actress since the end of the 1980s. In the TV and film industry, she is known for her many nominations and awards. Bassett was born to her aunt in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Born and grew up in New York New York. Bassett along with her mother and sister moved to St. Petersburg Florida when Bassett was five. Their father divorced their mother. While in high school Bassett was a spectator of John Steinbeck's play Of Mice and Men starring James Earl Jones and decided that she wanted to become an actor. After graduating of Yale University New Haven Connecticut in the year 1980, she earned the Bachelor's degree of African American Studies, she went on to earn an MA (1983) at the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance was also an actor at Yale. They were married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. at Yale's School of Drama. granted the degree of Master of Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Basssett in the year 1980. She was a student at the following schools: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for 7th graders, Azalea Middle School for 8th & 9th grades in addition to Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett plays Ramonda as one of the principal roles in action adventure film i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022).
